Jennifer Lopez recently responded to comments former beau Ben Affleck made about her acting career amid the creation of their forthcoming film, and ongoing legalities pertaining to their divorce.

According to E!News, the Maid In Manhattan star referred to Affleck and the rest of the Unstoppable cast as "spectacular" and "wonderful" in a November 5th interview.

"I would describe all of the cast and everybody behind the scenes as spectacular and wonderful." Earlier this week, the Argo standout (who is co-producing the film with Matt Damon) also unveiled details about the project, shouting out a few key people who made it all happen, including his estranged wife.

"Unstoppable is a very different movie than this, but in a way, it’s similarly rooted in the passion of really talented artists. Billy Goldenberg and Jennifer and Don Cheadle and Jharrel [Jerome], and Bobby Cannavale, all were really passionate about this film. It speaks to a certain kind of thing I guess we're drawn to. We really believe in the power of storytelling when the people involved in it are deeply connected to the story. Jennifer's spectacular. We believed in the right people, and Unstoppable is another example of that."

How did production go so smoothly when the producer and actress were in the middle of a divorce, you ask?

According to director William Goldenberg, who spoke to E!News about the film in September, JLo and Affleck are professionals and have not let their personal lives bleed into Unstoppable.

"It's always been about the movie and that's their personal business. We just kept it about the movie. We just kept her eye on the prize." Affleck and the "On The Floor" songstress called it quits on August 20, 2024 (exactly two years to the date of their Georgia wedding ceremony), and continue to show up for each others' children while maintaining a professional relationship on set.
