Do you remember those old cartoons where the dog would try and attack the mailman whenever he'd come strolling into the yard? Maybe those weren't even cartoons and i'm just remembering some sort of remnant of a joke that I was "too young" to fully understand from childhood. Either way - turns out it's kinda true. The United States Postal Service keeps a record of dog bites on a yearly basis - because of course they do, wouldn't you if it was happening HUNDREDS of times? And for 2022, even though Missouri wasn't THE worst state in the country for dog attacks, we were in the top 10.
