WATCH: Convenience Store Owner Fights Off Armed Robber with Bat!

Convenience store owner Wessam Mohamed was trying to close up on Thursday night. Surveillance footage shows an armed man entered the store with a knife and threatened Wessam and his family. Wessam's wife is battling lung cancer and the store is their lifeline to keep the bills paid. Wessam and his wife told the man they would not give him any money. When the robber reached for the cash register, Wessam started hitting him with a baseball bat. The would-be robber ran away. Wessam's son said he's very proud of his father for protecting the store and their family.
