Ashley Hardacre was leaving her shift at the Genesee Valley Mall in Flint, Michigan. She got into her car and noticed a flannel shirt wrapped around her windshield wiper. She also noticed there were two cars parked nearby, and one of them was running. She felt uneasy about the situation, so instead of getting out of her car to remove the shirt, she drove to a nearby safe place and got out to remove it. The shirt had been unbuttoned and wrapped around her wiper, so it was done intentionally.
Hardacre told CBS News “I posted about the incident to inform others that it can happen to anyone and that they shouldn’t fall for it,” Hardacre said. “A lot of people think it is fake or it won’t happen to them. But you can never be too safe.”
Flint Township Police Detective Sergeant Brad Wangler contacted Hardacre after he saw her post. READ MORE HERE.
