A day after Cardi B lashed out at critics and deactivated her Instagram account, Lady Gaga has come to her defense. The pop superstar took to Twitter on Tuesday to congratulate the rapper on becoming the first woman to win a Grammy for Best Rap Album. "It is so hard to be a woman in this industry. What it takes, how hard we work through the disrespectful challenges, just to make art. I love you Cardi. You deserve your awards," Gaga wrote. She continued, "Let’s celebrate her fight. Lift her up and honor her. She is brave."
