Rick Astley has been Rick-rolled again!!
With The Voice returning to NBC on Monday, the talent-reality show's judges produced a video of "Together Forever" that comes off as a humorous homage to Astley's original.
It features Blake Shelton on lead, wearing an oversized black suit resembling Astley's, while co-stars Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas form a dance line behind Shelton much like the one behind Rick. They even copied that dizzying pastel color sweep backing from the original.
Rick's reaction was posted online, which seems to be proud of the judges rendition. While he chuckles at certain points of the video, he calls it "priceless" and "brilliant," while complimenting The Voice judges for getting the details right. He sums it up, saying, "[It's] a crazy feeling having some of the greatest vocalists in the world sing an old song of yours from back in the day... It's amazing, even if they are doing it in a cheesy way."
