Glen Powell is laughing off the speculation that he is dating his Anyone But You costar Sydney Sweeney.
Powell and Sweeney once again sparked romance rumors after they both attended the wedding of his younger sister Leslie in Texas last weekend amid her split from Jonathan Davino, per People. During an appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends on Wednesday (April 2), the Top Gun: Maverick actor had a cheeky response to being asked about the reunion as it caused "a little bit of a stir" coming days after reports that the Euphoria actress had called off her own wedding and broken up with her now-ex fiancé.
"You know, timing is everything in this world," Powell said, laughing. He added that Sweeney and his sister are pals so it makes sense that she was also in attendance. "[Leslie] and Syd are obviously great friends and it was a hell of a wedding."
The Twisters star isn't the only one addressing the public speculation, even his mom Cyndy Powell has shut down the "silly" romance rumors.
"[There is] nothing going on behind closed doors," she told the Daily Mail on Tuesday (April 1), adding that her son and his costar are "definitely not together."
Sweeney and Davino reportedly split after seven years together amid claims their relationship had been "rocky for a long time." Even with their breakup, though, she is said to be "exactly where she wants to be."
