Jessica Simpson isn't worried about jumping back into the dating scene.
TMZ caught up with the Nashville Canyon singer, 45, on Monday (January 12) where the outlet checked in on her dating prospects following her split from ex-husband Eric Johnson. Simpson was even asked if she would ever consider joining Bachelor Nation and become The Bachelorette, searching for love amidst a group of hopefuls on the dating competition series. However, she quickly shut down the idea, per People.
"I have options," she said. "I'm good."
When TMZ pointed out that Simpson could be a great draw for the series and bring in higher ratings, she emphasized that she "[doesn't] care about that."
Simpson and Johnson announced their separation in January 2025, revealing that they were going their separate ways after 10 years of marriage. They share three children: Maxwell, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, 6.
"Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage," she said in a statement to Us Weekly at the time. "Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family."
