Ingenious Tactic From TV Show Saves Woman From Armed Robber

If you ever think TV isn't good for you, listen to the story of Julie Dragland, whose life might have been saved because she watched television.

Julie was on a train in San Francisco on her way home when she was passed a note saying there was a gun pointed at her and to give over her wallet. What Julie did next is something she once saw on Law & Order - she faked a seizure... and it worked!

She told reporters what happened, saying, "I'm scared and reacting so, I started slumped over to the left and started shaking and people started to notice and they’re like, 'Are you okay? Are you okay?'"

Seeing the attention Julie was getting the attempted robber ran off.

Julie described the suspect as an older white woman with a suitcase. Since no actual robbery took place, Julie won't be pressing charges.

However, the experience has left her shaken up. She said, "I was terrified and then I started to be like, is somebody really going to shoot someone for a phone and a wallet? I don’t know. I started to question it a little bit, but I was still really scared."
